What This Role Involves

The Lead Building Operator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a distinctive urban workspace. This role involves ensuring that all building systems are functioning optimally to support the well-being and productivity of knowledge-based organizations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage facility maintenance and repair requests promptly.
• Oversee cleaning staff to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
• Coordinate with external vendors for services such as landscaping and janitorial work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building operations management.
• A strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and fire safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and staff.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with facility management software is a plus.
