About the Role

As a Laundry Aide, you'll be responsible for managing our facility's laundry operations, ensuring all resident and staff linens meet our high standards for cleanliness, care, and timely delivery. This part-time position is vital to our assisted living and memory care community, where attention to detail and reliability make a real difference every day.

What You'll Do

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, clothing, and other fabrics using commercial laundry equipment
• Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care needs before processing
• Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols to meet healthcare facility standards
• Ensure clean linens are distributed promptly to residents, staff, and departments
• Maintain an organized, clean laundry room and track inventory of supplies
• Handle delicate and specialty items with appropriate care techniques

What We're Looking For

• Reliability and a commitment to showing up on time for your scheduled shifts
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move laundry baskets and supplies regularly
• Attention to detail and care in handling residents' personal items
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely
• Willingness to follow facility protocols and work as part of a care team
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required
