The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Landscaper I to join our team at BrightView Landscapes- DE in Monroe, OH. As a Landscaper I, you will be responsible for providing landscape maintenance support to various industrial, commercial, and public properties under supervision.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform basic landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching with guidance from supervisors
- Maintain the appearance of landscapes by removing debris, weeds, and other unsightly elements
- Assist in planting, transplanting, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as directed to ensure healthy plant growth
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents on the job site
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous landscape maintenance experience is preferred but not required
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for this role
- The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks
