Lacrosse – Boys Coach (2026-2027 School Year)

Victor Central School District is seeking experienced and dedicated lacrosse coaches to lead our boys' lacrosse program for the 2026-2027 school year. These full-time coaching positions offer the opportunity to develop student-athletes, build championship programs, and make a meaningful impact within our athletics department.

About the Role

We are accepting applications for multiple coaching positions within our boys' lacrosse program: Head Varsity Coach, Varsity Assistant Coach, JV Coach, and Modified Coach. The spring sport season provides structure and purpose to student-athletes throughout the competitive calendar. All positions are integral to fostering skill development, competitive excellence, and positive athletic culture across our program levels.

What You'll Do

• Coach and mentor student-athletes at assigned levels with emphasis on technical skill, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning
• Develop practice plans and game strategies aligned with program goals and age-appropriate objectives
• Manage equipment, maintain facilities, and ensure compliance with athletic association rules and safety protocols
• Communicate with athletes, families, and administration regarding progress, expectations, and program policies
• Promote team cohesion, sportsmanship, and academic responsibility among participants
• Participate in athletic department meetings and contribute to overall district sports initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated knowledge and playing/coaching experience in boys' lacrosse
• Ability to work effectively with student-athletes of varying skill levels and backgrounds
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to player safety, development, and positive youth sports experiences
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet background check requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; coaching certification preferred
