About the Role We are accepting applications for multiple coaching positions within our boys' lacrosse program: Head Varsity Coach, Varsity Assistant Coach, JV Coach, and Modified Coach. The spring sport season provides structure and purpose to student-athletes throughout the competitive calendar. All positions are integral to fostering skill development, competitive excellence, and positive athletic culture across our program levels. What You'll Do Coach and mentor student-athletes at assigned levels with emphasis on technical skill, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning Develop practice plans and game strategies aligned with program goals and age-appropriate objectives Manage equipment, maintain facilities, and ensure compliance with athletic association rules and safety protocols Communicate with athletes, families, and administration regarding progress, expectations, and program policies Promote team cohesion, sportsmanship, and academic responsibility among participants Participate in athletic department meetings and contribute to overall district sports initiatives What We're Looking For Demonstrated knowledge and playing/coaching experience in boys' lacrosse Ability to work effectively with student-athletes of varying skill levels and backgrounds Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to player safety, development, and positive youth sports experiences Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Valid driver's license and ability to meet background check requirements High school diploma or equivalent; coaching certification preferred About Victor Central School District Victor Central School District is committed to providing quality athletic programs that support student success in academics and athletics.
