About the Role

As Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis at Ghost, you'll act as a trusted financial partner to executive leadership, blending investment banking depth with practical operating instincts. This Los Angeles–based role suits a CPG-savvy finance leader who owns the numbers end-to-end, communicates with precision, builds and mentors strong teams, and stays composed amid ambiguity. You'll guide the FP&A function and help spearhead its AI transformation while shaping the financial framework of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive annual budgeting, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts across every business unit, including monthly variance analysis and operational reviews.
• Maintain a driver-based, bottoms-up 3-statement model and deliver board-ready reporting, KPIs, and unit economics.
• Lead Series D fundraising, manage working capital and debt financing, oversee treasury and cash-flow forecasting, and uphold covenant compliance.
• Own the AI roadmap for FP&A, accounting, and treasury — deploying agents for forecasting, reporting, anomaly detection, and close automation.
• Migrate the Excel-based model to Prophix, configuring workflows, automating data feeds, and rebuilding models natively in the platform.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Board on strategic planning, capital allocation, and corporate development, while hiring and coaching a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in finance, including at least 3 years of capital markets execution at a bulge bracket investment bank.
• Minimum 3 years of FP&A or strategic finance at a Series B+ retail or CPG company, with proven Series C+ equity raises and debt management.
• Hands-on AI transformation experience and fluency with FP&A tools such as Prophix, Campfire, DataRails, or Cube.
• Mastery of 3-statement modeling, scenario analysis, and driver-based frameworks, plus strong executive presence with C-suite and board audiences.
• A builder's mindset: develops people, operates with urgency, and brings a team-first ethic.
