Position Summary

The Institutional Assistant-2 role is central to maintaining the smooth operation of university departments and offices. What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to assigned departments or offices
• Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting arrangements for faculty and staff
• Prepare, organize, and maintain institutional records, documents, and files with accuracy and confidentiality
• Process administrative paperwork, data entry, and maintain databases or tracking systems
• Coordinate communications between departments, offices, and external contacts
• Support event planning, registration, or special projects as assigned
• Assist with grant administration, compliance documentation, or research support activities
• Perform general office duties including supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and facility coordination

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; some college coursework or associate degree preferred
• Demonstrated administrative experience or 2+ years in an office support or clerical role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to work confidentially with sensitive information
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
