About the Role
The Director of Campus Credentials leads the vision and execution of the University of Arkansas's credentialing initiatives, bridging academic excellence with modern recognition frameworks. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive credentialing strategy aligned with University of Arkansas's academic mission and market demand
- Manage digital credentialing systems and infrastructure, ensuring technical reliability and user accessibility
- Partner with academic departments and faculty to design credentials that validate specific competencies and learning outcomes
- Establish quality standards, vetting processes, and frameworks for credential offerings across campus
- Oversee badging, micro-credential, and certificate programs to support student career advancement
- Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with institutional stakeholders to drive credential adoption
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and credential best practices to keep programs competitive
- Ensure credentials maintain integrity, credibility, and recognition value in the job market
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in credentialing, digital credentials, badges, or related educational technology
- Strong understanding of credential standards, frameworks, and their role in higher education
- Strategic thinking with the ability to design scalable, sustainable programs
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Project management expertise and experience driving institutional change
- Advanced degree preferred; bachelor's degree required
