About the Role
As an In-Home Personal Aide with Visiting Angels, you'll deliver essential daily living support to seniors who value independence while needing assistance. Working on a flexible, part-time schedule, you'll build genuine relationships with clients while helping them maintain dignity and quality of life in their own homes.
What You'll Do
- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Help prepare meals and provide nutritional support
- Manage light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
- Remind clients about medications and appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Report any changes in client condition to supervisors
- Document care provided and maintain client confidentiality
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, compassionate approach to elder care
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
- Respect for client privacy and dignity
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person
