About the Role
Bethany's Handyperson/Driver will assist clients with various upkeep and repair tasks in and around their homes. This role will also be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from appointments using a company van. Approximately 8-12 hours per week are required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Litely assemble furniture or other items as needed
- Perform minor home repairs such as patching walls, hanging pictures, or fixing small plumbing issues
- Assist with light cleaning and organization tasks in clients' homes
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, errands, or social activities using the company van
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
- Follow safety guidelines when handling tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Skills & Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company van provided)
- Prior experience in home repairs, assembly, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Clean driving record
