Signal Energy is hiring a Site Manager to oversee construction operations at our electrical infrastructure projects in Elba, Genesee County and across the continental United States. This full-time position leads site teams responsible for high-voltage grid interconnection and transmission work, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and schedule standards.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you'll direct day-to-day operations at active construction sites, managing crews, contractors, and subcontractors. You'll serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and corporate management, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. This role combines hands-on construction expertise with leadership responsibility for a multi-disciplined site team.
What You'll Do
- Supervise site personnel, coordinate crew schedules, and manage workforce productivity
- Monitor construction progress against timelines and budgets; identify and resolve delays
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Inspect work quality and coordinate corrective action when needed
- Manage inventory, equipment, and material logistics on-site
- Document progress, incidents, and communications in compliance with project documentation requirements
- Communicate status updates, risks, and changes to project stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on technical questions and site challenges
What We're Looking For
- Proven site management or construction supervision experience, preferably in electrical or transmission construction
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple subcontractors
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and travel as needed within the continental US
- Valid driver's license
- Relevant certifications (such as OSHA 30) are a plus
