Southern New Hampshire University seeks a full-time Associate Dean of Academic Effectiveness to guide operational excellence and advance faculty and student success for our online Global Campus. You'll lead strategic initiatives that strengthen our adjunct faculty community while reporting to our Senior Associate Dean.

About This Position

In this role, you'll oversee key projects that elevate both faculty performance and learner outcomes through strong operational management. You'll strengthen how our adjunct team functions and grows. This is a remote position available in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Remote employees must have reliable internet connectivity and a properly equipped, distraction-free workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational projects that elevate learner and faculty success through evidence-based methods
  • Coach and supervise our adjunct faculty team to maintain instructional excellence and engagement
  • Track institutional and program metrics to pinpoint improvement areas and monitor results
  • Work across departments to integrate institutional principles into faculty-facing operations
  • Build and maintain processes that meet accreditation requirements and personnel standards
  • Nurture all stages of faculty development, from initial hiring through career advancement
  • Champion cross-departmental projects that grow academic programs and student achievement
  • Research higher education trends and external developments to strengthen faculty quality
  • Streamline systems and workflows to automate tasks, lower costs, and increase coordination
  • Leverage data to refine the faculty experience and communicate program progress

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum two years in higher education administration or management
  • At least one year of hands-on coaching or staff performance oversight
  • Track record of using data to inform business decisions
  • Working knowledge of how higher education institutions operate across multiple functions
