About the Role

This position provides essential support to our Head Football Coach in all aspects of the interscholastic football program. You'll work with student-athletes in a competitive 2A conference environment, emphasizing both athletic skill development and character growth. The role is seasonal and requires flexibility in scheduling, including practices, games, and training sessions throughout the football season.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside the Head Coach to plan, organize, and lead practice sessions
• Instruct and mentor student-athletes in football fundamentals, technique, and conditioning
• Provide on-field feedback and coaching during practices and games
• Evaluate player performance and contribute to strategy discussions
• Support the development of a positive team environment and athletic culture
• Help ensure compliance with athletic association rules and safety protocols

• Proven coaching experience in high school football or equivalent athletic setting
• Strong knowledge of football tactics, player development, and game strategy
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Genuine commitment to student-athlete growth and well-being
• Ability to collaborate effectively with coaching staff, athletes, and families
• Background clearance and reference verification required
