The Opportunity
Rapier Employment is currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Nottingham area. This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from £17.34 to £20.00 per hour (PAYE).
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver high-value products using trailers equipped with maple locks and anti-hijack systems.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks before and after each shift.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Requirements
- HGV Class 1 driving license is essential.
- A valid DBS check must be obtained prior to commencing any assessment or work on site.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Good physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting and handling of goods.
