The Opportunity

SolviT Recruitment are currently seeking HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for an ongoing role with a minimum commitment of three months. This position involves driving a refuse collection vehicle provided by the local authority to perform essential waste collection duties. The role will ensure that all designated waste streams, including Trade Waste, are collected efficiently and effectively.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle as per the instructions from the local authority.
• Collect various types of waste, including but not limited to household waste and trade waste.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations while performing duties.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and submit reports as required.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• HGV Class 2 driving license (essential).
• A proven track record in refuse collection or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.
