EquipmentShare is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our Technical & Maintenance team in Carrollton, Texas. If you take pride in keeping construction machinery running safely and reliably, this full-time role offers hands-on work with a modern equipment fleet.
About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician in Carrollton, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for diagnosing, servicing and restoring a fleet of construction equipment within a shop built around safety and quality. Day to day, you'll work through hydraulic, electrical and diesel system issues while keeping each machine performing at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the shop
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults across hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize fleet uptime
- Record clear, accurate service and repair documentation for every job
- Leverage the T3 telematics platform to monitor equipment health and guide diagnostics
- Uphold a safety-first culture throughout all shop operations
Qualifications
- Practical experience repairing and maintaining heavy or construction equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Comfort using technology and telematics tools to support service work
- Commitment to safe work practices and dependable documentation
- Ability to work full time, on-site in Carrollton, Texas
