Head of Accounting – Private Credit / CLO Funds

About the Role

Our client is an established global investment firm operating across offices in Manhattan and White Plains, New York. As Head of Accounting – Private Credit / CLO Funds, you will lead the fund accounting function and serve as a trusted technical authority for the firm's private credit and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) vehicles. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end fund accounting for private credit and CLO fund structures.
• Provide senior technical leadership on complex accounting matters specific to these investment vehicles.
• Partner across the global investment firm to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Maintain rigorous standards of accuracy, controls, and compliance throughout the accounting cycle.
• Act as a primary point of accountability for the firm's fund accounting operations in New York.

Qualifications

• Active CPA credential.
• Approximately 20 years of fund accounting experience gained at an investment firm and/or a Big 4 or public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge of private credit funds or CLO funds.
• Ability to commit to four days per week on-site between the firm's New York locations.
