As Head of Accounting & Controlling (m/w/d), you will lead a four-person team and report directly to the executive board. Your role is about ensuring reliable financial data and processes while actively developing the areas of accounting and controlling.
Your Responsibilities
- Taking on the functional and disciplinary leadership as well as the further development of the four-member team
- Overall responsibility for the areas of Accounting and Controlling
- Maintaining reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Developing management reporting and key performance indicators continuously
- Guiding and optimizing budgeting, planning, and forecast processes
- Conducting variance, result, and economic analyses
- Issuing concrete recommendations for the executive board
- Promoting digitalization and further development of financial processes
- Maintaining transparent, efficient, and reliable workflows
- Working closely with internal departments and relevant external partners
- Actively participating in strategic and company-wide projects
- Providing competent advice and support to the executive board on commercial issues
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who can recognize connections, create clarity, and derive actionable recommendations from financial data. You will have a proven track record in accounting or controlling with at least 10 years of experience. A university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field is required. Fluency in German and English is essential.
