About the Role

This is a full-time, 1099 contract position for over-the-road (OTR) team drivers operating Hazmat tanker equipment. Teams run dedicated freight and can expect consistent long-haul mileage, averaging roughly 7,000 miles per week per team. Drivers spend around 21 days on the road per cycle, with the flexibility to extend your time out if you'd like to keep the wheels turning.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Hazmat tanker equipment safely as part of a two-person driving team on OTR routes.
• Cover approximately 7,000 miles per week per team on dedicated freight lanes.
• Handle limited driver load/unload duties, accounting for roughly 10% of the workload.
• Comply with all DOT, Hazmat, and safety regulations throughout each haul.
• Maintain communication and coordination with your driving partner to keep freight moving on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A (CDL-A) commercial driver's license.
• Active Hazmat endorsement and tanker experience.
• Availability to work as a team and stay out OTR for extended periods (about 21 days per cycle).
• Comfortable operating as a 1099 independent contractor.
• A motivated, reliable work ethic and a genuine drive to maximize earnings.
