Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant)

Target is hiring a full-time Guest Advocate at our Reston, Virginia store location. This role combines cashier duties, front-of-store customer service, and shopping cart management to create a welcoming shopping experience for every guest.

About the Role

As a full-time Guest Advocate, you'll be the friendly face guiding guests through checkout and throughout the store. Whether you're processing transactions at our registers, assisting shoppers in the front-of-store area, or maintaining shopping cart availability, your primary focus is delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests with authentic warmth and process their purchases quickly and accurately at checkout
• Provide helpful customer service assistance both at registers and across front-of-store areas
• Gather, organize, and maintain shopping carts to keep the store exterior and parking areas accessible
• Handle payment transactions—cash, card, and other methods—while maintaining accuracy
• Answer guest questions and direct them to products or team members who can assist
• Keep checkout and front-of-store spaces clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Partner with team members to support all store operations and uphold Target's service standards
