Groundperson – NON-UNION CDL

About the Role

This full-time Groundperson position is the backbone of every tree-clearing operation. Working on-site in Archdale, you will support the crew by handling brush, operating equipment, and keeping the work zone safe for everyone around you. It is physically demanding, outdoor work that rewards reliability, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect brush and debris and feed it steadily into a woodchipper.
• Operate a chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and the stumps of larger trees.
• Continuously scan the work area to spot trip, fall, and other ground-level hazards.
• Keep coworkers clear of the path of travel and maintain a safe perimeter during operations.
• Clean, care for, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials so they stay in reliable working order.

Qualifications

• Comfortable performing strenuous physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to safely operate a chainsaw and assist with feeding a woodchipper.
• Strong safety awareness and the ability to stay alert to surrounding hazards at all times.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to follow crew direction and established safety protocols.
• Eligible to work in this non-union, CDL-supported field environment.
