About the Role
As a CDL Hydrovac Operator with HydroExcavators, you'll spend the majority of your work time safely operating and maintaining our hydro-excavation equipment on job sites throughout the Greensboro area. This role combines technical expertise with field operations, requiring both precision and hands-on problem-solving in diverse environmental conditions.
What You'll Do
- Operate hydro-excavation trucks and equipment to excavate, extract, and transport materials for environmental remediation and infrastructure projects
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations on all job sites
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, crew members, and clients
- Monitor and manage equipment performance throughout each shift
- Maintain accurate records of operations and material handling
- Transport equipment and materials safely between project locations
What We're Looking For
- Current valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating hydro-excavation equipment
- Strong understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliability, attention to detail, and professional work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
