Position Summary

The Graduate Medical Education Director & Faculty for Behavioral Health at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) is a full-time position based in Buckfield. As part of an integrated healthcare delivery system serving over 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine, this role plays a crucial part in the development and oversight of residency programs and faculty within the behavioral health department.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the training and education of residents in the behavioral health field
• Develop and implement educational strategies to enhance resident learning experiences
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Facilitate clinical rotations, seminars, and other educational activities for residents
• Evaluate resident performance and provide constructive feedback

What We're Looking For

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychiatry or psychology
• Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or eligibility for certification
• Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, or fellows
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
