Role Overview
This part-time position is designed to support the mental health nursing team within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)’s Mental Health Clinical Program. The program aims to provide valuable experience and training for graduates in a dynamic and supportive environment, preparing them for roles as Registered Nurses. The role will be temporary from February 22, 2027, to February 25, 2028.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of mental health care services in various locations within Adelaide CBD and surrounding areas.
- Assisting with patient assessments, documentation, and treatment plans under supervision.
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and adhering to strict ethical standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- A current enrollment in the Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing program, with an expected completion date by February 2027.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
