About the Role

The Graduate Assistant (GA) in the Parks & Recreation Management Department at Southwestern Oklahoma State University provides instructional, administrative, and research support to faculty while gaining professional experience. This part-time position is based on campus in Weatherford, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching, including grading assignments and exams
• Support the day-to-day operations of the Parks & Recreation Management Department
• Conduct research related to parks and recreation management under faculty supervision
• Participate in departmental meetings and events
• Help maintain records and databases for the department
