Five Star Parks & Attractions is hiring a part-time Go Kart Mechanic / Technician to maintain and repair our go-kart fleet at Scene 75 in Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio. If you're mechanically skilled and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Go Kart Mechanic / Technician, you'll be the backbone of our attractions operations, ensuring every go-kart is safe, reliable, and ready to deliver an exciting experience. You'll work independently and collaboratively to keep our equipment in peak condition while maintaining the highest safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on go-kart engines and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and safety checks
- Replace worn parts, fluids, filters, and components as needed
- Document all maintenance and repair work in detailed service records
- Identify safety concerns and communicate them to management immediately
- Support facility operations with general maintenance tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience with small engine repair, go-kart maintenance, or similar mechanical work
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to manage your time independently and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation and Position Details
This part-time position offers a pay range of $14.00–$19.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
