What This Role Involves

The General Maintenance I position at Thousand Hills Hospitality involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, performing minor repairs such as fixing plumbing issues or replacing light bulbs, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of common areas, restrooms, and other facilities.
• Handle routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing minor plumbing issues.
• Maintain the grounds by trimming hedges, raking leaves, and ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-kept.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any major issues to management for further attention.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
