About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position commencing Term 4, 2026, at Spearwood Primary School located in Perth CBD. The role involves maintaining the school grounds and performing various handyperson tasks to support the overall operation of the school.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintaining the school grounds including lawn care, planting, and general landscaping
- Performing minor maintenance tasks around the school premises as needed
- Assisting with events and special projects as required
- Supporting the school community in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in gardening or handyperson roles is desirable but not essential
- A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s license (for transporting equipment)
- Basic first aid training would be advantageous
