The Opportunity
Kaluza is seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers a salary range of £46,400 - £63,800 and will be based in one of the following locations: London, Bristol or Edinburgh. The position requires an existing right to work in the UK and does not offer visa sponsorship at this time.
The Analytics Engineering team is looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to our mission of turning energy complexity into seamless coordination. This role will involve working closely with the Analytics Engineering Manager and contributing to the development and maintenance of our analytics infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics tools
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights for energy companies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security in line with industry best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytics platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience in data engineering and/or analytics roles
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
