Turf Regional Sales Manager – West Job (Remote)

Armstrong World Industries is hiring a Turf Regional Sales Manager – West to lead sales strategy and profitability across a key territory in the United States. This full-time role with Turf Design, an Armstrong World Industries subsidiary, puts a results-driven sales leader at the center of growth in the architecture and design market.

About the Role

Reporting to Turf's National Sales Director, the Turf Regional Sales Manager – West owns total sales performance, day-to-day sales operations, and profitability for an assigned western region. It is a high-impact position where your work directly influences brand presence, product specifications, and revenue, while opening doors to architecture, design, engineering, and manufacturing leaders nationwide. Expect significant travel of roughly 50%.

Key Responsibilities

• Hit and exceed regional targets for revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin.
• Craft and carry out strategic plans that make the most of financial, technological, and operational resources.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and lead independent sales representatives across the region.
• Cultivate strong representative relationships that keep company values, goals, and strategies aligned.
• Set monthly metrics and clear accountabilities to ensure rep goals are consistently met.
• Track industry trends and best practices to protect competitive standing.
• Plan, attend, and support trade shows and conferences, then evaluate their impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience within the architecture and design (A&D) industry.
• Proven success growing new business and expanding existing accounts through a representative-based sales model.
• Experience building teams and organizations aligned to business strategy is a plus.
• A relationship builder who drives results, adapts to change, and brings genuine curiosity about design and architecture.
