The Opportunity
Jersey Mike's is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Opening Shift Leader to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role involves working from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm five days a week, ensuring the restaurant opens smoothly each day. As an opening shift leader, you will be responsible for baking bread and prepping fresh produce.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Baking bread and preparing fresh produce daily
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Ensuring all equipment is properly set up before opening hours
- Handling customer inquiries and ensuring a positive start to each day for our guests
- Working closely with other team members to ensure a seamless shift transition
