Key Responsibilities
- Foster a structured, secure, and trauma-informed living environment for the youth in our care.
- Guide residents through everyday routines, transitions, and the rhythms of the evening and overnight hours.
- Coach young people in healthier coping techniques and emotional regulation during moments of stress or conflict.
- Support skill development that helps each youth grow more independent and resilient.
- Collaborate closely with the broader treatment team to keep care consistent and individualized.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to working with youth in a residential treatment setting.
- Patience, empathy, and steady judgment when responding to emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Willingness to apply trauma-informed approaches and reinforce positive coping strategies.
- Availability for the full-time 4PM–12AM shift at the Elmwood ITR location.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with treatment staff.
