The Opportunity
Vrey is building the EnergyOS for multi-family buildings, addressing a critical gap in Germany's energy transition. With over 3.3 million apartment buildings, this sector represents a significant untapped potential for solar power and smart metering integration. Vrey combines certified meter operation with proprietary software to enable property owners to sell self-generated solar power directly to their tenants, turning regulatory obligations into profitable opportunities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and product managers
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and continuous integration
- Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
- Work closely with data to build robust, user-friendly interfaces
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a Full-Stack Product Engineer with 2+ years of professional experience in building full-stack web applications. A strong background in Ruby on Rails is essential, along with proficiency in JavaScript and HTML/CSS. Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems (Git) is required. Additionally, you should have a passion for solving complex problems and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
