Supervisor – Private Client Group (Personal Lines)

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Supervisor - Private Client Group (Personal Lines) to lead operations across the United States (nationwide) (nationwide). This full-time role combines hands-on expertise in high-net-worth insurance with meaningful supervisory responsibility for a talented team.

About the Role

As Supervisor of our Private Client Group, you'll oversee daily team operations while maintaining your own book of high-net-worth clients. You'll direct team performance, coach staff toward excellence, manage complex client situations, and champion operational improvements that strengthen departmental outcomes. Working closely with Personal Lines leadership and colleagues across the company, you'll ensure your team delivers exceptional service and meets all business objectives. This position offers competitive compensation ($85,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience and location), performance bonus potential, comprehensive health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, a 401(k) with employer match, and opportunities for career advancement in a respectful, collaborative workplace.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of Personal Lines professionals, managing workflow and ensuring service continuity
• Maintain your own client portfolio while meeting production, quality, and service expectations
• Monitor team productivity and service quality, providing coaching and skill development
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives
• Support recruitment by interviewing candidates and recommending qualified hires
• Collaborate with leadership to address operational, service, and staffing challenges
• Provide transparent communication to leadership about team performance and priorities
• Handle escalated client matters and advise the team on complex personal lines coverage
• Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Organize scheduling and allocate resources to support service delivery and continuity
• Stay informed on industry trends, carrier requirements, and evolving coverage solutions
• Build and maintain productive relationships with carriers, internal teams, and leadership
• Embody company values and model integrity in all professional interactions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance industry experience with broad personal lines knowledge
• 4+ years in insurance leadership, supervisory, or management roles
• 3+ years in Personal Lines specifically (preferred)
• Valid, current active insurance licenses (all required types)
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Strong client service and relationship management expertise
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage substantial work volumes with precision and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Outstanding character, professionalism, and integrity
