About the Role
As a Maintenance Associate I at our Woodridge location, you'll be part of a skilled team responsible for the upkeep and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This entry-level maintenance role offers hands-on experience with industrial machinery, troubleshooting systems, and supporting operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll work within our production facility, responding to maintenance needs and contributing to facility reliability across our food packaging, specialty packaging, and materials processing operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including inspection, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance activities accurately
- Work safely in compliance with facility safety protocols and industry standards
- Support packaging production operations by ensuring all systems function reliably
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize repair needs
