The Opportunity
Friendsurance is seeking a dynamic and engaged Finance Director to join our vibrant and family-oriented finance team. As the Finance Director, you will play a central role in operational financial and legal leadership of our company. Core Duties
- Part of the extended management team, responsible for operational excellence in finance: optimization and automation of accounting processes (especially AP/AR)
- Scalability of financial processes for future growth
- Support in business planning and profitability analysis
- Leadership of the Finance & Legal teams and responsibility for all recurring financial topics, such as:
- Monthly closing and VAT prepayment – with the goal to continuously make the closing process faster and leaner
- Year-end closing and audit
- Accounting and payment flow (AP/AR)
- Controlling and reporting to management
- Able to quickly analyze, evaluate, and automate existing finance processes
- Create business cases for ongoing projects and assess commercial contracts from a financial perspective
- Lead our Legal Counsel and make joint decisions on various legal topics in the company
