Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Supervisor to lead day-to-day paving and field-testing operations at our Christchurch-based civil engineering laboratory. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing workflow, supporting and developing technicians, ensuring testing is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee field-testing workflow
• Support and develop technicians
• Evaluate and ensure safe execution of tests
• Manage daily operations at the laboratory in Christchurch

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in civil engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Field Supervisor or similar role
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong technical knowledge of paving and testing procedures
• Experience with safety protocols and risk assessment
