The Opportunity

At Weatherford, as a Field Specialist II within our Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the implementation of cutting-edge technology and solving complex field challenges. This full-time position is based in San Antonio, Texas, where you will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure exceptional service quality for our clients.

Core Duties

• Implement and maintain advanced gas lift and packer systems to optimize well performance.
• Diagnose and resolve field issues related to artificial lift systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and recommend innovative solutions for lifting systems challenges.
• Provide on-site support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Document all activities and maintain accurate records for compliance and future reference.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in oilfield operations, preferably with artificial lift systems.
• Strong understanding of gas lift and packer technologies and their applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently for fieldwork.
