Role Overview

As an Estimator in the Earthwork & Grading division, you will play a key role in estimating costs, preparing bids, and ensuring project profitability.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork and grading projects
- Analyze site plans and specifications to determine material quantities and labor requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure all necessary information is captured in bid documents
- Develop detailed budgets and manage the estimating process from initial contact through contract award
- Review and analyze cost data, including equipment costs, material prices, and subcontractor rates
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Estimator in Earthwork & Grading with a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates. You should have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment costs. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, but not required. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
