Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a full-time Equipment Rental Specialist at our New Milford location. As a key member of our rental team, you'll help construction companies, contractors, and project managers find the right equipment to keep their jobs moving forward.
About the Role
As an Equipment Rental Specialist with Sunbelt Rentals, you'll be the go-to expert customers call when they need to equip a job site. You'll combine product knowledge with customer service to match clients with the equipment that fits their needs—from pumps and compressors to scaffolding and general construction tools. Your expertise will help customers solve problems, stay on budget, and complete their work on time.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their specific project requirements
- Provide clear guidance on equipment operation, safety features, and rental terms
- Process rental agreements, manage inventory, and coordinate equipment delivery and returns
- Build lasting relationships with customers by delivering responsive, knowledgeable service
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and find solutions that keep projects on track
- Maintain familiarity with our extensive equipment fleet and current rental availability
