As an Enterprise Account Manager at Algolia, you'll lead strategic partnerships with enterprise customers who rely on our search platform to power digital experiences. This remote position in the United States offers the autonomy to own customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive meaningful expansion across complex organizations.
About This Position
In this role, you'll manage a substantial portfolio of existing customers, balancing renewal objectives with expansion growth opportunities. You'll work cross-functionally and demonstrate consultative problem-solving while navigating sophisticated customer environments and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
What You'll Do
- Retain and expand existing customer relationships while driving recurring revenue growth
- Develop customer-centric account strategies that align Algolia's platform capabilities with business objectives
- Navigate multi-stakeholder conversations around renewals, pricing negotiations, and expansion opportunities
- Conduct account health assessments, surface at-risk relationships early, and drive retention through proactive engagement
- Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell initiatives that maximize customer value
- Leverage modern tools and data insights to prioritize high-impact accounts and surface expansion signals
- Build repeatable approaches to account management that scale across the team
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering to maximize customer outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years managing customer relationships in enterprise SaaS environments, with responsibility for both renewals and expansion
- Demonstrated success navigating complex sales scenarios involving multiple decision-makers
- Ability to engage customer teams strategically, identifying needs and articulating how Algolia's solutions address them
- Comfort with commercial processes including contract reviews, pricing discussions, and deal documentation
- Resourcefulness and adaptability developed through work in dynamic, high-growth startup or scale-up environments
- Capability to manage high-volume customer interactions while maintaining attention to detail and prioritization
- Nice to have: background with developer-focused tools, API products, usage-based pricing models, or eCommerce and digital experience platforms
