Responsibilities

• Inspect public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces for items needing repair or replacement
• Troubleshoot and correct issues with lighting, locks, appliances, and common mechanical failures
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and drywall touch-ups as needed to restore appearance and function
• Monitor tool inventory, order supplies when low, and keep the maintenance shop organized
• Follow all safety protocols, local codes, and property guidelines during every assignment
• Support small projects, equipment installations, and emergency response efforts when they arise

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or building engineer, ideally within a commercial or multi-unit setting
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC operation, and general mechanical systems
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to read simple blueprints, work-order systems, and equipment manuals
