About This Position

As Accounting Manager at Sybridgetech, you will own the rhythm of the monthly and year-end close, protect general ledger integrity, and deliver statements and analyses that leaders can trust. Working on site in Itasca, Illinois, you will strengthen internal controls, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and set expectations for quality, timing, and continuous improvement across the accounting function.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan and direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities so financial statements are complete, timely, and well supported
• Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for a clean audit trail
• Guide accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related posting workflows to keep the books current and balanced
• Prepare management reports, variance explanations, and analytical schedules that clarify performance drivers
• Maintain and improve internal controls so processes remain consistent with US GAAP and company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors by assembling workpapers, answering inquiries, and tracking open items to resolution
• Lead and coach accounting teammates, prioritize daily work, and reinforce standards for accuracy and deadlines
• Support budgeting and forecasting collaboration by supplying reliable actuals, trends, and operational context

What We're Looking For

• Background performing Accounting Manager or comparable senior accounting leadership work with full-cycle ownership
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial statement preparation, and disciplined month-end close practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, or equivalent demonstrated capability
• Strong Excel skills and comfort directing work from core accounting systems and reporting tools
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to brief non-finance partners on results and risks
• Solid judgment, high integrity, and consistent attention to detail when balancing Corn speed with control
• Experience mentoring others, resolving bottlenecks, and improving processes without eroding accuracy
• Readiness to succeed in a full-time Accounting Manager role based in Itasca, Illinois
