What This Role Involves

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our patient-centered democratic physician group at our Springfield, Vermont facility. The position involves working in a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital with an 8-bed Emergency Department that handles approximately 13,000 annual ED visits.

• 10-hour shifts
• Full-time commitment of 120 hours per month

What You'll Do

The role involves providing comprehensive emergency care to patients, working closely with the medical team. Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and treating a wide range of acute conditions
• Managing patient flow in the Emergency Department
• Participating in shift-based duties including triage and consultation

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant with experience in emergency medicine. The ideal candidate should have:

• A valid PA license or eligibility to practice in Vermont
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred but not required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
