About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Bedford, a Category B & adult/male prison. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with Level 3 qualifications in electrical engineering to contribute to maintaining and improving the facilities within the prison.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Participate in the planning, installation, and commissioning of new electrical projects.
- Work closely with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
