About the Role
This temporary full-time position involves providing leadership in clinical education and instruction based on adult education principles. Reporting to the Program Director of Quality, Safety & Transformation and collaborating with Site leadership, you will apply nursing theory, advanced knowledge, and educational theories to guide staff and promote best practices through staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clinical education based on adult learning principles.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in the application of the nursing process for client care.
- Promote a culture of evidence-based practice and evidence-informed decision making.
- Assist managers in maintaining standards of care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Master’s Degree in an applicable health-related discipline is preferred.
- Registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
- Certificate in Adult Education or adult education experience is an asset.
