Position Summary
Evoenergy is seeking a Dual Trade Electrical Fitter/Cable Jointer to join our Ground and Zone Assets team in Barton, South Canberra. This full-time role involves contributing to the safe, reliable, and sustainable electricity network that powers homes, businesses, and essential services across the ACT. You will be part of the Network Services Group, working on the construction, maintenance, and operation of critical network infrastructure.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Perform cable jointing and termination tasks
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues in existing networks
- Participate in the construction of new infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter/Cable Jointer or a related role
- Dual trade qualification in electrical fitting and cable jointing
- A strong understanding of electrical systems and network infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong safety consciousness and adherence to industry regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
