This full-time, on-campus leadership role combines strategic oversight of student academic services with hands-on engagement in student development and institutional advancement.

Position Summary

As Associate Dean and Director of Student Academic Affairs, you'll lead comprehensive academic support systems and co-curricular initiatives that foster student growth and achievement. Reporting to the Dean of the College, you'll work at the intersection of curriculum, advising, professional development, and student welfare—building programs and policies that strengthen student outcomes while advancing the College's academic mission.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee academic advising, student success initiatives, and academic support services for undergraduate and graduate students
  • Design and implement policies supporting student academic standing, degree progress, and academic integrity
  • Lead programming around academic planning, career readiness, study skills, and scholarly development
  • Collaborate with faculty advisors, department chairs, and other academic units to ensure coherent student pathways
  • Partner with enrollment management, student affairs, and graduate education teams on retention and student experience
  • Serve as an institutional leader on student advocacy, accessibility, and inclusive excellence
  • Manage budgets, staff, and data systems that support student academic services

Who We're Looking For

  • Master's degree or higher in higher education, student affairs, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in academic advising, student affairs, or academic administration at a college or university
  • Strong understanding of undergraduate and graduate academic structures, degree requirements, and student development
  • Demonstrated leadership and change-management experience in a complex, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to student success, equity, and inclusive excellence in higher education
  • Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students across diverse backgrounds and perspectives
