As a Direct Support Professional Float at Dungarvin, you'll provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in our care throughout Louisville. Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care support and assistance with daily living activities
• Support individuals in community engagement and recreational activities
• Monitor and report on individual health, safety, and well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and support provided
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and individuals supported
• Follow established care plans and protocols to ensure consistent, quality service
• Respond flexibly to varying assignments across multiple locations or individuals
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for those in your care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain compliance with state regulations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for float assignments)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist individuals with mobility and personal care
• Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts and locations
• Compassion and commitment to person-centered care
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
