Derivative Sales Analyst

DIRECTOR OF DERIVATIVE SALES ANALYST - COINBASE - ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

The Opportunity

As a Derivative Sales Analyst on the Institutional team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving volume across futures, options, and perpetuals for our top VIP derivatives traders. You'll source new high-value traders from competitor venues, re-engage dormant accounts, and bring structured market insights back to Product, Risk, and Marketing.

• Own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders on Coinbase
• Drive increased trading volume and expand adoption of advanced trading products
• Source and convert new high-value derivatives traders from competitor venues through targeted campaigns
• Monitor market structure, client flows, and competitor offerings to identify upsell opportunities
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast for your book, reporting on key KPIs (volume, active traders, winbacks, competitor migration)

Core Duties

Your role will be centered around building and maintaining strong relationships with our top VIP derivatives traders. You'll also drive volume across futures, options, and perpetuals, source new high-value traders from competitor venues, re-engage dormant accounts, and bring structured market insights back to Product, Risk, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in derivatives sales or a related field
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients
• Proven track record of sourcing new business through targeted campaigns
• Deep understanding of derivatives market structure, client flows, and competitor offerings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify upsell opportunities and provide structured insights
